This joke came from the baseball episode of Sonic X where Cream used her powers of cuteness to make the robot drop the ball. Originally, I had Cream do that trick to Sonic in issue 1 and he ended up picking flowers with her, but then I wanted the subplot that I later trimmed down so I changed it to him fooling her so he can get some rest.
